Mark Conner

Mark has a genuine love and ability to connect with people, and a passion to help them grow and change.

Mark is a highly gifted speaker and communicator who is regularly in high demand as a keynote speaker at conferences and churches in Australia, USA, Asia and Europe.

By his late 40s, Mark was what other people considered ‘successful’, as the church he led grew from 1,000 people attending services each weekend to 5,000. On the verge of burnout, he was invited by a business friend to attend a two-day intensive at the Halftime Institute in Dallas, USA. He was encouraged to think through what a more meaningful second half of life could look like. It was intellectually and spiritually stimulating, and incredibly practical. After he participated in a year long Halftime executive roundtable in 2016 with a group of business owners and entrepreneurs, this process, together with his earlier Dallas experience, forced him to work through a series of challenging questions that ultimately gave him clarity and prepared him for his next season.

After twenty two years as the senior minister at CityLife Church in Melbourne, with a congregation of around 10,000 spread over four campuses, Mark transitioned out of his high profile leadership role into what he now believes will be his unique second half contribution to focus on mentoring, coaching, consulting and training high capacity leaders.

Mark has a genuine love and ability to connect with people, and a passion to help them grow and change. He brings a wealth of wisdom and life experience through speaking, writing (having also authored several books), training and coaching others toward reaching their full potential.

Mark has a Doctor of Ministry degree from Fuller Theological Seminary in California, USA. He is married to Nicole, and lives on the Sunshine Coast in Queensland Australia. They have three adult children.
